It's mystifying… Living is dying./

Sitting silent, I listen to the sirens./
Minds make time, for the instant, it is timeless./
Dive in… Infinity's inside us./
Mankind's sympathy for science is a blindness./
Spine stiff, the rigidity that guides us/
Not only defines, it confines us. Eyes shut./
My myth points straight at the divine rift,/
Asks me to pick which side to align with./
My gift is a set of sublime lips./
Life's spit out, life meets death's kind kiss./
Why risk it at all? Why bother?/
My mission, my calling, my daughter./
My vision, my mother, my father./
My brief moment with God, Light, Water./

I pick my soul off of the tree./
I see the faces of the people who love me./
I gently flow into the stream./
I know the same that is below is above me./
